This 18th Century manor house takes its name from the 13th
Century Roscommon Abbey, whose ruins can be seen from the Hotel.
This was a Dominican abbey founded in 1253 by Felim O'Connor,
the last High King of Connaught. Its purpose was to provide
food and shelter for travelers. The Abbey Hotel follows that
tradition. Following an extensive refurbishment, all rooms are
en-suite and provide guests with the utmost in luxurious surroundings.
All rooms include coffee/tea making facilities, hair dryers,
phone, complimentary broadband, in-room safe, radio, work station
and seating area. The hotel offers a number of guest amenities,
including a leisure center with a 20-meter indoor poor, fully
equipped gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, plunge pool, learner
pool and a professional personal trainer. As well, there's an
award winning restaurant and bar to exercise ones culinary muscles.
Please note: The Abbey Hotel is a nonsmoking hotel.
The Abbey Hotel is a relaxing experience in the heart of Ireland's
